My internet is slow
1. Try another device or website. Check whether everything is slow or only one device or website.
2. Pause busy internet activity. Stop downloads, game updates, and extra streams while you test.
3. Move closer to the router. Try the same room. Keep the router out in the open, rather than inside a cupboard.
4. Check your speed. If possible, connect a computer to a router LAN port with an Ethernet cable. Turn its Wi-Fi off. Run a test at Speedtest.net. If you cannot use a cable, test close to the router.
5. Restart if you have not already. Unplug the modem and separate router for 60 seconds. Plug the modem back in and wait 10-15 minutes. Then plug in the router and wait a few minutes. Do not press Reset.
If a cable connection is fast but Wi-Fi is slow, the Wi-Fi signal may be the problem.
